The Netball CCA has been a newly introduced CCA in 2019. It was reopened since its closure due to PERI upgrading. The CCA consists of both the Recreational Team and the Competitive Team.
CCA Training session
Recreational Team: Monday, 2.15pm-3.45pm
Competitive Team: Mondays and Wednesdays 2pm – 5pm
Objectives
Students will be:
- equipped with the skills necessary for a game of netball
- able to develop a passion and love for the sport *able to espouse the values of teamwork, friendship, sportsmanship and resilience
Programme
Trainings occur on Monday for Primary 3 students and the recreational team. School team members from P4 to P6 engage in twice a week training, on Monday and Wednesday. Students acquire new skills and learn the importance of teamwork, resilience and discipline. The school participates in friendly games and carnivals, especially at the Upper Primary levels. This is done to allow students to have a holistic experience as they meet new friends from other schools and interact with them through their love of the sport.
